As a singer growing up, I always practised in my bedroom, and it is still my preferred place to practice. The sound is honest, even brutal at times, since my bedroom is full of things and has little reverb to mask my voice, but it is what I am used to.

Practising music in one's bedroom is all about repetition. After a while, if I keep going over the same section, I find myself slowly dissociating and spectating the process as an outsider.
